MFT Associate Coaching
When I began my journey in graduate school, I knew that I wanted to work in private practice. I wanted autonomy, flexibility, and a good pay check. I was drawn to the challenge of building a business and using my creativity to build a brand — my brand. I completed semester after semester of classes in my program, and was still left with a big whole in my knowledge of how to step into the world of private practice.
Unfortunately, this is the case for many mental health associates. The graduate curriculum is tailored towards community mental health, making the career goal of working in private practice a daunting and mysterious path to navigate.
